Because UK will never get the Olympics (and even if we did, we'd never win anything as we rarely do!)
Because America made UK suffer a Britney Spears tour and we need a Kasim tour to compensate
Because Kasim could play a gig in all the major cities in UK within a week!
Because, although we don't know who Todd Rundgren is, Meat Loaf is massive over here and can still fill 20,000 seater arenas so lots of his fans would go to see Kasim too
Because you can drive from one end of UK to another in about six hours (okay, that's excluding Scotland but that doesn't count as it's mainly sheep that live there and most of them are dead now)
Because UK has NATIONAL radio stations - one show and Kasim's heard all around the country
Because UK had NATIONAL TV stations - one show and Kasim's seen all around the country
Because all my friends want to know what that guy I keep talking about actually sounds like
Because Kasim hasn't been in UK for nearly two years
Because Kasim would be paid in UK sterling and when he converted it to US dollars it would be a lot more
Because Kasim could meet up with his old pal Prince Charles again
Because UK is about to have an election and we desperately need a diversion from that
