I decided yesterday to go to the show at Yankee Lake and so had another
1,000 people as it was full. The venue is called the Yankee Lake
Ballroom but there is no lake (it was drained when a dam was created)
and it was just a wooden barn.
It was meant to start at 9.00 but they came on stage at 8.30 which
threw everyone, Todd called it "Yankee Dry Hole"!
All dark vests this
time and no extra song before Trapped. Todd continually changed the sound levels.
After I refused Mary Lou's offer of a seat on stage, the tikki set sung
as always. Todd did his Ricky Martin impression and put in an extra
song (one verse) which sounded out of place and elicited no applause as
we didn't know he'd finished!
