After Life is a Lemon, Meat Loaf caught some guy "checking out the chicks on stage" with a pair of binoculars so Meat had great fun pointing out that Pearl was his daughter! He then added that Patti was his wife and then his mistress!
After Lawyers, Guns and Money the first song that was suggested by the audience was Good Girls go to Heaven but Bad Girls go Everywhere. This was the first time that it's been played on this tour and afterwards Meat remarked on how good and together the background vocals were and asked if the band had been secretly practising! Meat got the girl who suggested the song up on stage to sing with him. She had a very shrill voice but kept going through the song okay!
As usual, Meat asked for someone to bring him some beer on stage and, as it took four girls to do it, he invited them all on stage! One girl was placed on the piano, another to sit at Tom's feet, another up with John on the drums and the last to sit beside "Ray who hails from Toledo"! As the piano girl didn't know the words, Meat got a guy to lie on the piano so Patti did the "Hot Summer Night" speech with him while Meat spoke with the original piano girl who just screeched "Yes!" each time - eventually Meat put some duck tape across her mouth! He also struggled to control the Meat Loaf Toledo Pops Choir too!
Next they sang For Crying Out Loud which resulted in a standing ovation by lots of people. Unfortunately I was disappointed with tonight's rendition as, I guess to save Meat's voice, at the ending part only Tom played so we didn't have those great Kasim / Patti / Pearl background vocals which makes the song so much fuller. Fortunately Meat didn't have to result to the over-dramatic "catch my breath" pausestonight.
At one point in the concert, some young tot went up on stage to give
Meat a present and was undecided as to whether or not to accept Meat's
marriage proposal! Later another young tot also went up but Meat
couldn't get much out of her before she almost burst into tears and had
to be rescued by Mum!
Somebody asked about Bat Out of Hell III and again Meat Loaf said that they were in discussion with Todd Rundgren about him producing it. He also said that Kasim will be playing on it and then that all the band will be playing on it! He did add though that they probably wouldn't start recording for another year. Again Meat plugged the next two movies that he will be filming and then said that before the concert tonight he'd just got off the phone from a call from CBS about a Christmas Special for Christmas next year!
Someone announced that she'd lost her virginity in a car when she was sixteen to Paradise by the Dashboard Light but that the guy had lasted less time than the track so Meat got him on a mobile phone and spoke to him which was funny!
Another lady mentioned that when the four "You Took the Words" girls
had gone on stage earlier on, none of them had kept Kasim company so
Meat invited her on stage to sit with Kasim! His face was a picture!
However, no sooner than she had got on stage, Meat was asked about
Heaven Can Wait. It's during this song that all the band but Tom go off
stage so Meat told her to go off with Kasim! She then came back on
stage until the end of Paradise!

When Meat first got the Paradise couple up on stage, "the straddler" was very reluctant to do it as she was a teacher and was worried about her students finding out, but she soon lost her inhibitions! Almost as soon as they started singing Paradise the couple and the "record executive" started jiving up on stage! Meat had trouble getting the words out at one stage as he was laughing so much!
All the band were wearing black tonight (except that Pearl had on a dark pink top). From wearing leggings and a jumper at the beginning of the tour, Patti seems to now always wear her black dress with the side leg split and bolero style jacket. Meat has worn black trousers and tunic shirt the whole tour - I wonder how many sets of that outfit he has!
