This was another ornate theatre with a crowd tonight of 2,500 that wasn't sold out but it was a much better audience than last night's.This may have been in part because at the beginning of the concert, along with the usual instruction of not to request any songs, we were told not to request anything - no handshakes, no hugs and not for Meat to sign anything - consequently the show was much slicker than last night! There were some Buffalo Bulls banners on the stage tonight and John wore a "78" sweatshirt

Somebody asked about Anything For Love and Meat decided that it was THIS song tonight that he'd been so sued about which lead into Lawyers, Guns and Money!

There were no unusual songs tonight (someone mentioned Objects in the Rear View Mirror but Meat didn't sing it) but they did sing For Crying Out Loud which is one of my favourites, as well as being Meat's favourite song. Meat reckoned that it was only the sixth ever time he'd sung it since 1978 which, given that he sang part of it a few times on the Greatest Hits tour in Europe earlier this year, seems a bit low to me. Maybe he means only the sixth time he's sung the first verse and the ending as in Europe he only ever sang the ending. Either way, it sounded great tonight with all the background vocals (Kasim, Patti and Pearl really blend well together) and they'd changed it slightly as the last "ooh" was an "aah".

Two young sisters (about six years old) wanted to sing with Meat so they sat on stools in the front of the Meat Loaf Buffalo Pops Choir (Kasim showed them how to use the tambourines and they really kept in time) and they weren't at all timid about singing! Afterwards they told Meat that he'd sung the wrong song as they wanted to sing Paradise! They also both refused Meat's offer of marriage!

Rock and Roll Dreams was really good tonight as they played at the end for just ages which resulted in the audience giving them a standing ovation! Ray was allowed off his shelf again and, at one point, Meat, Ray, Kasim and Damon all came to the front of the stage to play, aka the European tour, which really got the crowd going!

It always amazes me how much Kasim really does in these concerts, apart from his brilliant bass playing and magical vocals! He seems to be constantly moving around to get into a position so that he can see Meat Loaf's mouth to convey to the band as to when to play certain notes, sorting out the arrangements for any unusual songs requested, as well as being the person who arranges the choir and tells people when to stay on stage and where to stand or sit! He certainly is working hard in these concerts.

Paradise by the Dashboard Light was hilarious tonight! The "record executive" was Jim Kelly (a famous Buffalo sports player but I can't remember which sport!) who apparently imfamously mouthed a swear word on television but the real stars were the Paradise couple themselves as, as soon as they started singing the song, they started making out like rabbits! It was so funny as the guy's (who was lying on his back) legs were going in the air and the "height of passion pencil holder" was knocked flying almost from the song intro so the "record executive" poured water on the guy to cool him down! During the second verse, Meat told them to lay off a bit as it was totally distracting from the band singing!

As they'd already played All Revved Up in the concert, tonight's encore was DeadRinger which ended with Meat and Patti Russo walking off stage together. During that song, Meat poured some water over himself too to cool down!
