It's a nice light pop sound, it would be really nice to see Kas and a band performing the songs live! The only exceptions to the multi-instrument recording is a live version of Don't Hold Me Back and Remember, featuring Kas on piano with some synth overtracks. I know I've got a version of Don't Hold Me Back on a boot Utopia tape, but haven't been able to find it! Dallas? Milwaukee?.....
Go buy this CD from SphereSound! They're not even charging postage ($4.30 to send mine to me!), so at $16 it's a deal!
I'm not sure what I was expecting - after seeing his short 3-song set before Meat Loaf, and knowing his solo touring has also been acoustic, I had figured that this was going to be a semi-acoustic-type CD. Wrong! Kas plays all the instruments on this, except for a couple of guitar parts, and there's keys, drums and lots of overtracked harmonies over it all.
