"The September 30th GoGirlsFest2000 is an opportunity for NY State bands to see USGIGTV in action while they film performances and interview each artist, to be aired on USGIGTV at a later date. Attending the event will also give artists top priority when submitting their press kits for consideration of future USGIGTV events (press kits must include a demo CD/tape with at least 3 original songs). Last, but not least, they will be supporting a great cause. A portion of the proceeds from the Albany fest will benefit the Equinox Domestic Violence Programs in Albany, NY. "Benefiting Charities Locally, Rocking Nationally!" is the motto of the annual tour. Ticket holders will enjoy a day of talented entertainment beginning at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, September 30th and will continue until closing (doors open at 4pm. and close at 4am.) The line up will consist of 6 local and regional bands including, Wake Up Jonny, Iridesense, Regan, Ariana Daner, Jenny Bruce and headlining act, Sister Mitchell, who’s bassist will be world reknowned, Kasim Sulton. With his worldwide fan base and outstanding accomplishments, one may know this producer/musician/recording artist, from his work with other legendary artists such as Meatloaf, Utopia and Todd Rundgren, to name a few. At the end of the night, one lucky ticket holder will be awarded a 3 day/2 night accommodations package for 2, donated by www.time2join.bigsmart.com, the Internet’s fastest growing shopping mall.
