Three and a half hours before the concert was due to start, Meat Loaf's only concert in Wales on this leg of the Couldn't Have Said It Better World Tour was cancelled. No official reason was given but Meat Loaf had posted earlier on MLUKFC.com that he had a bad throat. Lots of fans were annoyed as this concert was cancelled so late and loads of people did not receive notification so they turned up at the venue. One coach company have now refunded all their passengers due to this being the second cancellation of this concert.
This concert was originally booked for Saturday 15th November but that date was cancelled the day before it was due to go ahead due to Meat Loaf having the flu. This concert has been rescheduled for Sunday 11th January 2004 and all tickets are valid for that date. Anyone unable to make this new date should return their tickets to where they purchased them for a refund (less the booking fees).
No public apology has yet been made by Meat Loaf about the cancellation of this concert.
