The European leg of the Meat Loaf Couldn't Have Said It Better World Tour kicked off tonight with a concert at the Gerry Webber Stadion in Halle, Germany in front of about 6,500 fans. An added bonus for the enthusastic crowd was that due to illness by the lead singer of the support band, The Darkness, Kasim Sulton played a short opening set instead! He sang Don't Hold Me Back, Before She Was Gone and Sacrifice which were all well received by the crowd. Copies of Quid Pro Quo were also available to purchase at the venue. The European tour consists of about 30 concerts in Germany, the UK and Ireland and ends on 18th December with a third London concert.
