Kasim Sulton tonight held another online chat with his fans at the KasimSulton2 Yahoo board. Despite the fact that it wasn't promoted much on the Internet, it was quite well attended with about 25 people logging on at various times. Kasim was obviously in a good humor and stayed for about an hour.
The main points of the chat were:
- Quid Pro Quo is selling well
- There will be a full page advert (paid for by Sphere Sound Records) for Quid Pro Quo in Goldmine magazine next week
- Soon Quid Pro Quo will additionally be available at The Orchard which means it can also be purchased at Amazon and Barnes and Nobel
- To make up for him having to cancel the gig earlier this month, Kasim Sulton will be playing a gig opening for Moogy Klingman at The Triad Lounge in New York on Saturday 9th November
- Kasim spoke to Todd Rundgren recently (he's currently working on his new house) as he had been asked to ask him about singing background vocals on a track on Meat Loaf's new album - "they're trying to make it another Anything For Love". Apparently Todd hasn't decided yet whether or not he will sing
- Kasim will be recording background vocals for the new Meat Loaf album next week in New York
- Meat Loaf's new album will be released early next year with promotion starting in March
- Kasim will be playing the opening set at most of the Winter Meat Loaf concerts and copies of Quid Pro Quo will be available to purchase there
- The set list at the Winter Meat Loaf concerts will be the same as at the Summer shows
- KasimSulton.com will soon have a new look with new colors
- The next Kasim Sulton online chat will be the second Sunday in November (10th)
