Kasim Sulton News

Sunday 2nd March

Tonight Kasim Sulton held an online chat with his fans for about ninety minutes. About 30 fans attended.

The main points that Kasim mentioned (in order) were:

  • Kasim said that he had fun doing his online journal but he thought that there would be more to offer, however there was less band promo than he “thought and was told that there would be”.
  • Meat Loaf promotion restarts “late March, April”. When asked where Meat Loaf will be touring he more or less said everywhere (Chicago, the East Coast, Philadelphia, Dublin, London and New Zealand were mentioned).
  • Kasim will be playing three shows with Pat Travers in March
  • Just Kasim and Eric Troyer sing the background vocals on Did I Say That?
  • Kasim said he felt the Staten Island explosion, although he lives 15 miles from it.
  • Kasim would like to do more Borders shows but doesn’t like the fact he had to cancel some.
  • Kasim talks to Willie Wilcox “all the time”. Willie will be going to see Todd in Easton, PA (Willie’s wife bought the tickets) but he doesn’t expect to talk to Todd there.
  • Steaming audio and interviews will be going up on KasimSulton.com soon. The Hong Kong radio interview will be first up.
  • Kasim is currently looking for management (“to fill a vacant position”) and will be putting new material together. He had to rewire his studio.
  • Kasim was interviewed for part 2 of the Billy James Todd book.
  • The most unusual present he’s received from a fan was a palm reading - “it wasn’t good”!
  • Kasim thanked everybody for their support.
