It was fabulous!!!!!!!!!! I was standing front and center (in the standing room section of course) next to Denise, HBK, Ellen was nearby, so was Linda I think. He did (uhoh, I'm forgetting some already) Life is a Lemon, I'd Lie For You, I'd Do Anything...., Paradise of course, some song that isn't his that I can't remember the name of, You took The Words, BOOH as a finale, Is Nothing Sacred, and if there is anything else, someone else will fill you in I'm sure....LOL I got several autographs, including Pat Thralls' , Patti's, and Kasim's. I even got Kasim's guitar pick, though some lucky people got Meat's and some lucky people (Denise) got to hold Meat's mike during You Took the Words. But I was next to her so I guess it counts for something...LOL and.....I swear Meat looked at me during BOOH and Patti smiled at me, but I've been known to be delusional. But when this thing airs, you'll see a bunch of us on tv, (we're stars) LOL.

Things didn't get off to a great start, it was a long wait to get our tickets, and the weather was so hot and humid, but we all had fun getting to know other loafers....we got occasional sneak of them rehearsing every time they opened the studio doors to move things in and out.....But when it started the wait was well worth it.

I hyperventilated when I realized how close we were to the stage. And how seeing Meat and everyone else so close up didn't hit right away because I still felt like I was looking at a really large picture....LOL

I just got home from NYC/Hard Rock Live taping. I am trying to keep under control in telling you where I was located at this little concert. Ok, I was smack dab in front of Meat the whole time!!! (I am smiling from ear to ear every time I think of this!!) And not 2 inches to the right of him or a half a foot to the left of him, Right in front of him!! I am having a hard time typing!!! It was so fabulous that I'll try to describe it. I was so close to him at the end when he closed with "BAT" he was leaning down singing right at the edge of the stage and I was as close as I could get. (BTW yes 10 years later I got hit with the sweat again!! Yeah!) If I wanted too I could have reached out to touch him!!!

Songs: Life is Lemon, Dead Ringer, I'd Lie For You, Anything For Love, Lawyers Guns and Money, Is Nothing Sacred, Paradise, and Bat out of Hell. Superb, terrific, he looked great and sounded even better!!! I was so close I could bust just thinking about. He talked a lot and seemed to enjoy himself. The band looked great and they sounded superb!! Patti looked stunningly beautiful!

Hey the best part of the nite, when they were singing "You took the words right out of my mouth" we; the audience were singing (you know the part) and Meat was trying to get us to sing louder and he looked down and handed me the microphone (aggghhhhh) so I could hold it up to the audience and we could hear us better. He seemed to be happy with my performance (hehehhee),nodded to me and then when he took the mic back; yes, he touched my hand!!!

The fan club members all stood in the front row, I was standing by Super , HBK and Linda, and Jay. Oh and I got a guitar pick, used! I spoke with Kas, said Hi to him and told him they did a great job! He was very friendly. But I had to leave to catch a bus back to PA by 9:25, so I couldn't stick around to get any autographs, bummer!!! And we were not aloud to take pictures inside, another bummer.

But all around a super fantastic night with Meat Loaf. (I can't stop smiling) cause if you see me on TV I'm smiling the whole entire time, ear to ear. Meat must have thought I had some kind of problem or something!!!

But it's 1:00 am, I gotta go to sleep, if I can!!! It was great to meet all of the people that attended!! Any hey, see ya all later. HEHEHEHEHE
