Kasim Sulton Online Chat

Yahoo Kasim Sulton MessageBoard - Sunday 14th July 2002

On Sunday 14th July 2002 Kasim Sulton held an online chat with his fans during the Meat Loaf Summer Tour. Even though the chat wasn't advertised as much as previous chats, about 25 people attended from various states in US and from other countries too.

Here is an abridged transcript of the chat. Wherever possible the spelling and punctuation of Kasim's replies has been left as was typed during the chat as most people find it "cute"! Due to the nature of online chats the answers to some of the questions are out of order so they have been moved to make the reading easier.

Gina: Good idea Jen

MDeCotis: Kasim, Amy again. Once you told me that as a kid you only started singing because nobody else in your band would, and you only got good at it because you practiced a lot…..did you ever in your life take voice lessons?
Kasim Sulton: I took voice lessons for a short time in the 80’s
Kasim Sulton: Didn’t seem to help

Stephanie: Hey Pebs, how about Cliché - my favourite
Gina: I like Cliché too
ChicagoPebs: Love Cliché but I’ve never heard Kasim sing Mated live

MDeCotis: Were all the PingHeads crying by the time that Puff croaks in the last verse?

Louie: I thought that you would say The Love Of The Common Man
Kasim Sulton: I remember once when Todd forgot the words to Common Man
Stephanie: And you helped him out?
Kasim Sulton: Sanf the whole first Verse for him
Kasim Sulton: This was in 1977
LiaPlum: I saw a WAT show when Todd was too sick to sing…Kas carried most of that show…it was great
Kasim Sulton: I’m seeing Willy when I get home
