Meat Loaf's new album Couldn't Have Said It Better was released on 31st March in Germany, Austria, Holland and Switzerland, and on 21st April in UK and Ireland. Currently the US release is expected to be on 21st August and during October in Australia.
The version of the album that is being released in continental Europe has a red background and the UK version has the blue background (as in the photo above). No background color has been announced yet for other countries.
The first single from the album called Did I Say That? was released in Germany only and reached #18 in the charts. The title track was released as a single throughout Europe on 21st April. Due to distribution problems, the single was not the success that was anticipated so recently it was reported that the single will be remixed and re-released soon.
Kasim Sulton plays bass and sings background vocals on most of the tracks on the album. Todd Rundgren sings background vocals on the track Couldn't Have Said It Better.

Kasim Sulton spent most of 2003 involved in the promotion and touring for the album. Concerts were played in US and Mexico in the Summer and in Germany, UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand in the Fall and Winter (the Gigs section of this site has details). Kasim Sulton performed a short opening set at most of the concerts.
