ONLY 5 days left to vote for Quid Pro Quo in the Kweevak.com poll
18.30 - Jennifer Salyer has updated the Kasim Sulton part of her website. Click here for the direct link. Along with a totally new look, there is a new sound file of Did I Say That? (which emphasises Kasim's vocals) and a new video of a 1999 appearance on The David Letterman Show.

ONLY 6 days left to vote for Quid Pro Quo in the Kweevak.com poll
19.15 - The German Meat Loaf Fan Club receives a lot of its info from the German arm of Polydor and they say that "Meat Loaf" will be in Germany ("possibly" for TV appearances) from 28th March to 4th April. (By using the term "Meat Loaf" it seems more likely that the whole band (and therefore Kasim Sulton) will also be there.) They also seem quite sure that one appearance will be on 29th March at Color Line Arena before a major boxing match!
19.00 - The news from Meat Loaf himself (via MLUKFC.com) is that his next single will be Couldn't Have Said It Better (the duet with Patti Russo from his forthcoming album) and it will be released on 21st April all over Europe. The release dates for the album are currently:
31st March - Germany, Austria, Holland and Switzerland
5th May - UK, Ireland and the rest of Europe
12th May - Australia, New Zealand and the Far East
August - US, Canada and South America
The video for the single Couldn't Have Said It Better is due to be filmed on 5th and 6th March (presumably Kasim will not be involved in this) and there are plans for Meat Loaf and Patti Russo to return to Europe to record more TV shows on 29th March. There was no mention of Kasim being involved in this trip but everything is subject to change (or improvement in this case!).
18.45 - Just a reminder that Kasim Sulton will be on the radio (briefly) later today. The Gigs section of the site has full details.

09.45 - Eleven new photos of Kasim Sulton by Gary "Goat" Goveia at his Borders appearance in Westbury, NY have been added to the Photos section of the site.
07.00 - The News section of the site has been updated.
06.00 - The E-Bay auction for the batch of 16 albums including Kasim came to a close yesterday with no bids being placed (again!) and yet the auction for copies of Quid Pro Quo (with the highest bid receiving a signed copy) came to a close with 5 copies being sold (the most ever in an auction). The highest bid was $20.
05.30 - Paul Crook's official site has some photos from the televised NBA Slam Dunk Game. Click here for the one photo in which you can make out Kasim!
05.00 - Kasim Sulton will be holding an online chat in the Yahoo KasimSulton2 chatroom on Sunday 2nd March at 8.00pm EST.
02.30 - It seems that the gremlins are attacking KasimSulton.com today as it's the turn of that site to be offline. It does appear that other sites on that server are also currently down.

8 days left to vote for Quid Pro Quo in the Kweevak.com poll
17.15 - CDUniverse.com currently stock The Basement Tapes (but not Quid Pro Quo) and there's a great review of the CD at the above link with a rating of 5 out of 5. As it may disappear in time, it says: "KASIM WHO?
That definitely was my immediate reaction, never having listed to Kasim before. My first time was at the Meat Loaf gig, Cardiff Castle, Wales, 2002 and I was hooked - totally by one song "Don't Hold Me Back". I am now the proud owner of this CD and all I can say is WOW. A real treat for the ears, an exciting album consisting of songs written, produced & sung by the man himself. As a bass player he is awesome and as a singer he ranks among my top 3 have to listen to artists. Do yourselves a favour and BUY THIS NOW you won't regret it. If you're like me though the only regret you'll have is that you didn't buy it 4 years ago - where have I been?????. Add it to your collection and get his latest "QUID PRO QUO" too - a real must have. I'm definitely a convert and can't wait to add his other "music offerings" to my list.

14.00 - Conversely the auction for copies of Quid Pro Quo (with the highest bid receiving a signed copy) has sold 4 copies! The highest bid so far is $20 and it also ends later today.
13.45 - It's back! The auction for the batch of albums including Kasim is available on E-Bay again! It's 16 albums again but the opening bid has been lowered to $7.99. The auction ends later today and currently there are no bids.
06.00 - This week there is some good news from Germany as Meat Loaf's single Did I Say That? has climbed this week from number 40 to 28 in the charts! Click here to view the official charts.
The current flash object from the front page of the site which will soon be "retired" (since Quid Pro Quo has been available for almost 6 months now)

11 days left to vote for Quid Pro Quo in the Kweevak.com poll
17.30 - Just a reminder that the latest issue of Ice magazine (that contains the advert for Quid Pro Quo) was issued yesterday.
13.10 - According to a post by Meat Loaf in the "The worst news in history of the universe" topic, the release date of his new album Couldn't Have Said It Better has been delayed until 15th April in Europe and 5th May for UK. No exact date (other than July) has been given for US.
09.00 - Apparently SlickMusic are no longer selling The Basement Tapes. Thankfully copies can still be purchased at TRBazaar.com.
07.45 - There have been a few Kasim mentions (mainly by me!) in one of the forums on the messageboard attached to the MLUKFC.com. The topic is (exaggeratingly) called "The worst news in history of the universe" and is about the chart performance of Did I Say That?.
07.30 - There are 10 more copies of Quid Pro Quo currently available on E-Bay. In this Dutch auction, the highest bidder will receive a signed copy of the album. The price is only $16 (including postage in US), it ends on 02/21 and currently two of the copies have been taken.
