19.00 - A review, loads of photos and some video clips of Kasim Sulton's concert with Meat Loaf in Dublin, Ireland last weekend have been added to the Meat Loaf Summer Tour section of the site.
16.00 - Keep an eye out over the next few days at the New Jersey Coast.com website as it's expected that they'll soon be featuring an online interview with Kasim Sulton! A few months ago a certain fan of Kasim's mentioned to the site about doing an interview with him which duly occurred a few weeks later. It was scheduled for their May website update but unfortunately that update never happened so, when the site was updated in July, a gentle nudge was given(!) so it should appear in either their August or September update!
12.00 - Kasim Sulton's fifth official online chat is scheduled for 19th August! As Kasim alternates between the two chatrooms, on this occasion it will be held at KasimSulton.com. Time to be announced later.
11.15 - On Jennifer Salyer's Meat Loaf website there is a form where you can submit questions to Kasim. The answers will be posted at her site at a later date. Jennifer has also revamped the Kasim section of the site - click here for the direct link.

18.30 - Another gig has been announced for Kasim Sulton! It's on Sunday 6th October in Pittsburgh, PA. The Gigs section of the site has been updated with the info. Both Doug Kennedy and Mark Alexander are expected to be playing this gig with Kasim.
16.30 - Some photos of Kasim Sulton's recent gigs with Meat Loaf have been added to the Meat Loaf Summer Tour section of the site, as well as a review of the Liverpool gig. This review contains the great quote (from a Meat Loaf / Jim Steinman) fan:
"Kasim played his acoustic set to start with, and he really is rather good!! Even taking the risk of playing a Beatles song - always a gamble in Liverpool, which paid off and won the crowd over onto his side no problem. I was sat next to a die hard Liverpudlian (think Ricky Tomlinson in 51st State) who exclaimed "he's a brave man, get this wrong and he's lynched" when Kasim started the Beatles cover, no more than 30 seconds later the same bloke was in awe. I for one will certainly be hunting down Quid Pro Quo when it's released."

12.15 - In the interest of fair reporting, apparently on a Meat Loaf Newsgroup, someone made the comment about Kasim that "I saw him perform before Meat Loaf on Jul 17th, at Star Plaza in Merrillville. I think he should stick to background vocals." The person who sent me this snippet noted that this was the first negative thing that he had read about Kasim.

09.00 - At least one person has written to say that sometimes on this site, the Blog page may say that something is updated but when they go to view the page, the info is the old stuff. Most of the pages on this site are set up so that it updates immedatiely for Internet Explorer and Netscape users but those who use AOL as a browser may have a delay (possibly a delay of a few hours) as AOL works by downloading the pages into their cache and you view from that. If you use AOL as a browser the only way to ensure that you are looking at the most current info is to hit "refresh" each time you load a page. This is not so much of a problem on other sites but KasimInfo.com is updated several times each day so may be a cache or two behind.

02.30 - Although I didn't actually get to see it, apparently one of my dreams came true on Wednesday evening! All the times that Kasim Sulton played as part of The Ricky Byrd Trio, I was saying that I wish that it was The Kasim Sulton Trio - well apparently on Wednesday, John Miceli joined Kasim and Mark Alexander on stage for Before She Was Gone!
02.15 - Kasim Sulton is FINALLY listed on the John Michael Kohler Arts Center website proper (only two days before the show!). Click here to read it but it says:
"Noon-1:00 p.m. Kasim Sulton music performance - FREE
2:45 p.m.-3:30 p.m. Pat McCurdy music/comedy performance - FREE"
