09.30 - There's a couple of old but nice postings about Kasim Sulton's 2001 tour dates on the Score! Magazine News Board. The first says "Kasim Sulton-- who is Utopia, Hall & Oates, Joan Jett’s bassist-- has more dates, he's got a romantic vibe so bring your own date to his shows" (and it lists KasimInfo.com as "The best "fan" website on the Internet"!). Click here to view it. The second (click here) says "Kasim Sulton is a romantic singer who is famous for his bass work with Hall & Oates, Utopia, Joan Jett, Meat Loaf". They certainly get a romantic vibe from Kasim! I don't see any listing for Kasim's first 2002 tour unfortunately.
01.00 - There is now a posting on the Kasim Sulton section of the "MEATLOAFonline.com, ML-Testify.com and Patti-Russo.com message board". Click here to view it.
00.45 - From the "well it made me laugh category", my site counter allows me to view the search words that people enter in search engines in order to find KasimInfo.com. Obviously most hits are via "Kasim Sulton" and "Kasim Sultan" but a lot of the searches are also via "Todd Rundgren", "Meat Loaf" and "Night Of The Proms". Two of the funniest searches this pastweek have been "Antwerp is boring" and "Why is Kasim so black?"! KasimInfo.com is actually top of the sites in the "Why is Kasim so black?" category on Google.com! Incidentally Google.com is by far the most popular serach engine on this site with 47% of the search engine links.

13.00 - There's also a nice Kasim Sulton mention in a message that Ray Andersen sent out announcing that he is leaving Meat Loaf's band:
My friendships with everyone in the Meat Loaf Band and the entire Tech Crew will stay forever, I'm sure. I particularly owe a debt of gratitude to Kasim Sulton, who made that call back in '98, to ask me to join the Band. It literally changed my life.
12.15 - There's a nice Kasim Sulton mention on the 23rd April Blog page of the Mirror Of The Soul website. It says:
I, for one, am becoming VERY Jim Steinman and Meat Loaf starved!! New product is what I crave. I was thinking of who should be on this album the other day, and cannot stop wondering how awesome it would be to have Kas finally get a lead vocal on a Steinman track. I mean, the guy has been in the background of some of the best Steinsongs on the planet.
09.30 - Both the News and the Meat Loaf Summer 2002 Tour sections of the site have been updated about more tickets going on sale.
07.15 - Although the site doesn't mention Kasim Sulton by name (yet!), Ron Brancato's Design Studio website is interesting in order to view the other types of work he has done. (Ron Brancato is the graphic artist who is designing the cover of Quid Pro Quo.) Apparently Ron Brancato matches the covers to the type of music on each CD. An example of his work on a blues CD is below.
