18.15 - The Future Appearances section of the site has been updated with new info received.
17.30 - The set lists, reviews, photos and some video clips of Kasim Sulton's two shows in Schenectady, NY last Friday have been added to the Have Guitar, Will Travel Tour section of the site.
15.45 - There have been three recent topics of discussion of Kasim Sulton related matters on the BeyondAwizard (Todd Rundgren) mailing list over the past couple of days! The first was about the Shaun Cassidy album Wasp that Kasim and the rest of Utopia played on, the second was about the Utopia album called Utopia and that Kasim sings lead or co-lead on eight of the fifteen tracks (compared to Todd's seven) and the third was about Kasim's forthcoming gig on Saturday.
14.45 - According to a post on the messageboard attached to Kasim's official website KasimSulton.com, there is great clip of Yer Fast from The Power Trio Tour concert in San Francisco in 2000 on Todd Rundgren's subscription service Patronet. Kasim Sulton can apparently be heard and seen clearly singing a lot!

00.15 - Kasim Sulton's name has FINALLY been added to The Bitter End website (only three days before the gig and no link to his website but...!).

23.15 - According to Pollstar.com another date has been added to the Meat Loaf Testify Tour! It's on 20th June in Mount Pleasant, MI. Tickets are currently not on sale. Many thanks to DillyPom (Vicki) for forwarding this info.
13.00 - The set list, a review, photos and some video clips of Kasim Sulton's gig in Maynard, MA last Thursday have been added to the Have Guitar, Will Travel Tour section of the site.
09.45 - The start time of Meat Loaf's concert on 21st July at RockFest 2002 in Cadott, WI has been changed to 10.30pm.
09.30 - The number of hits on KasimInfo.com has topped the 100,000 mark since I first installed the counter (which was not the day that the site first opened)!!

08.45 - The opening page of this site has been changed with some quotes from the ChicagoGigs review.
08.30 - There's a good review of Kasim Sulton's gig in Chicago, IL by Mike O'Cull on the ChicagoGigs website! There are also some great photos by Beth Shandles on that page too.
08.00 - Overnight Kasim Sulton sent a message (amusingly called "Over For Now") to the mailing list attached to his official website KasimSulton.com where he teases us with the fact that he hopes to play some shows again before the end of this year!

21.30 - A Google.com search engine has now been added to the opening page of this site. It searches either the whole of the Internet or just KasimInfo.com or KasimSulton.com - putting in the words "Kasim Sulton" produces over 600 mentions on KasimInfo.com! (Only 600?!! This site is almost 2,000 pages big now!)
21.00 - The Press Release page of the Pine Mountain Music Jam website has been changed to now read:
"Performing with Meat Loaf will be Kasim Sulton, a well know[n] artist, if you keep up with recording artists like Rick Derringer, Todd Rundgren's Utopia and Joan Jett and of course he has played with Meat on some of his recordings and tours also. So Saturday night should be a night of great rock and roll and showmanship for one of the best music stage performances you will ever see."
19.45 - An online petition has been set up to try to get Utopia inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame! Click here for the direct link.

15.30 - Yesterday there were some posts on the BeyondAwizard (Todd Rundgren) mailing list about the photo that Frank Ciapanna took of Kasim and Ruth Rundgren that is on his official website KasimSulton.com.

09.30 - The Press section of the site has been updated as Kasim Sulton is the lead item in the Greg Hymes column in the Times Union newspaper in the Albany, NY area. It contains the great opening words:
"Former Utopia member Kasim Sulton performs (mostly) solo at the Van Dyck
Kasim Sulton has spent much of his musical career performing with such pop stars as Todd Rundgren, as part of Utopia, and Meat Loaf. But when he played at Valentine's in Albany last month, he had a very different special guest join him onstage: 13-year-old Amy DeCotis from Niskayuna. "

11.45 - Just to clarify that Kasim's gig itself tonight in Bound Brook, NJ starts at 8.00pm. Kasim is due to go on stage at 10.00pm after the three opening acts.
09.45 - Miriam Yaffa Oberstein has posted some great photos of Kasim Sulton at his gig in Alexandria last Wednesday to her website.
09.30 - It will probably only show for another 24 hours but Kasim Sulton is listed on the website for one of the three opening acts, Peter Biedermann and Ping , for his show tonight in Bound Brook, NJ.
09.00 - According to a post on the Jim Steinman mailing list, quoting MCA/UME, the special edition of Meat Loaf's Bat Out Of Hell album (as mentioned in this Blog on 02/19/02 at 07.30) was incorrect and a re-release of the album will now not be happening.
