08.30 - There are two new online Kasim Sulton interviews! The first was in a Rhode Island newspaper (no photo) and the second is in New London Day (this interview has been changed since it first went online as Kasim originally spoke about his dog but that reference has since been removed). Also there was a posting on the messageboard attached to his official website KasimSulton.com that Kasim's gig was picked as the "Friday pick" in the Boston Metro paper (with a photo of Ricky Byrd)!
07.30 - Kasim Sulton sent a message to the message to the mailing list attached to his official website KasimSulton.com about the postponed gigs.

22.30 - Two dates on Kasim Sulton's tour have been postponed! The 2nd March show at The Bitter End in New York has been moved to 16th March (all other details remain the same) and the 3rd March show at The Stanhope House in Stanhope, NJ is still in the process of being re-scheduled.
00.30 - Somebody wrote to the messageboard attached to Kasim Sulton's official website asking what Kasim solo gigs are like and some fans wrote in with some great comments.

19.30 - Unfortunately Kasim Sulton's radio interview that was to have taken place tomorrow evening on WORT 89.9 in the Madison, WI area has been cancelled as the usual show will not be aired that day. Kasim will still be on that station on Tuesday 12th February at 11.00am.

12.00 - And if you see this page, it's because I am now on the fourth(!) server! The first constantly had mail problems, the second wasn't large enough and the third would not allow all the downloads (videos / music) that there are on the site!
05.15 - Talking of stress(!) I'm now in the process of moving KasimInfo.com to it's third server in about as many days! The first server didn't list how large the site was and it was only when I switched to the second server that I realized that it's almost 300MB which would have cost me almost $60 each month to host there! Thankfully this third server charges less for larger sites. I am still aiming to fully open the site again by Friday.
05.00 - A slightly stressed sounding Kasim Sulton sent a message to the mailing list attached to his official website KasimSulton.com, but he does say that he's looking forward to his tour!

07.15 - Club Passim (where Kasim Sulton plays his Have Guitar, Will Travel Tour premiere on 1st February) has a bi-monthly online music magazine that can be downloaded and Kasim has two mentions in the January/February edition! The first is on the calender page (pictured below) and the second is a blurb about his gig (to be added to this site tomorrow). Many thanks to the kind person who sent these to me.
07.00 - As previously stated, I'm in the process of moving this site to a new server. As I've reached the "delicate" stage of the transfer, it is possible that the site may be unavailable for a "short time". If this turns into a "long time" I will post onto the Kasim Sulton Yahoo Board the alternative address for a smaller version of the site on Geocities. It is also possible that some people may take longer to see the new site than others, depending on their cache.

Btw, he does say that he enjoyed working with Kasim too!

03.00 - The opening message on Kasim's official website KasimSulton.com has changed! The site itself has also been revamped. Some of Kasim's old front page messages have been archived, links to his interviews have been added to the Biography page, the gigs page is now current, the discography layout has been changed, there are some different photos (with more to be added!) and a different video will be added each month!

13.45 - There was an interesting post made by Doug Kennedy on the message board attacked to Kasim's official website, KasimSulton.com about a new Japanese import CD called UTOPIA - Oblivion Tour. Doug is a musician with Isle of Q and played with Kasim at two of his gigs so last year so he gives an interesting perspective of the CD release.

12.45 - Some more tour mention round-ups! (Many thanks to the kind person who trawled through all the site to send these to me.) Overnight Kasim Sulton's name was added to the concert listing on both the Front Porch Music website (Valparaiso, IN) (in the "Coming This Spring" section) and on the Cafe Carpe website (Fort Atkinson, WI). The latter site has an amazing commentary about Kasim which includes:

15.45 - I've added some photos of the televised concert from Munich, Germany on Kasim Sulton's birthday to the Night Of The Proms Tour section of the site.
13.45 - The Abbey Pub in Chicago has corrected Kasim's name on their website (it was "Kasim Sutton") but now Club Cafe in Pittsburgh has him listed as "Kassim Sulton"! The Hamilton Street Cafe and Stage in Bound Brook, NJ has been changed from "Meatloaf's Kasim Sulton" to "Utopia's Kasim Sulton". 12.45 - Apparently some people have been having problems viewing the video and audio clips of the Night Of The Proms concert that I mentioned on 8th January. Unlike other countdown pages there have been previously on this site, the photo may not change every day but each day there will be a Kasim Sulton quote! 11.30 - Kasim Sulton appears on the 2001 Night Of The Proms CD. There are three versions of this album, with different tracks on each depending on the artist who appeared in each country. Kasim appears on the track Home By Now / Now Matter What on the albums for Germany and Holland and additionally on the Bonnie Tyler track It's A Heartache for the release in Belgium.
