12.30 - Frank Ciapanna has updated his site to include some great photos of Kasim Sulton's Rochester gig.
12.15 - I added THREE items for 8/24/01 to the News section of the site (complete with photos) - a busy day for Kasim!
11.30 - I added a mini review, photo and some video clips of Kasim Sulton singing The National Anthem to that page in the Kasim Sulton 2001 Solo Acoustic Tour section of the site.
10.00 - There is a new message from Kasim on the opening page of his official website KasimSulton.com!!
06.00 - As almost everybody I know in KasimWorld was in Rochester, NY this past weekend, I was unable to update this site so I will endeavour to catch up over the next few days!

11.30 - There were recently some messages posted to the messageboard attached to Kasim Sulton's official website KasimSulton.com about a possible Christmas Show for Kasim, photos of The Bitter End gig and even more photos of The Bitter End gig!
11.00 - Better late than never but I finally added the Set Lists and Reviews of Kasim Sulton's gigs in Tahlequah, Madison and Philadelphia to the relevent pages in the Kasim Sulton 2001 Solo Acoustic Tour section of the site. Photos and videos to be added soon.

20.00 - It was announced tonight that the interview that Kasim Sulton was supposed to be doing on WCMF in the Rochester area in the early hours of tomorrow morning has been cancelled as the DJ is on vacation.

22.00 - I added a page to the News section of the site about Kasim's gig in New York tonight which I would appreciate if everyone took the time to read.
11.00 - I appreciate that this is old(ish) news but there was some discussion on the Yahoo Angry's Todd Rundgren and Utopia Board about Kasim Sulton's album The Basement Tapes (messages #3279, 3281 and 3282) and about photos of Kasim (messages 3242 and 3244).

13.00 - There were a couple of posts today about Kasim Sulton on a Todd Rundgren mailing list. The first asked:
Anybody know what label Kaz has lined up to release his CD? I checked out a couple of the tunes at his site and really liked what I heard. I guess I'd be surprised if there is a major label behind it.... seems more like a self-release proposition.
The reply posted was:

06.00 - There was a great mini review sent to the main Todd Rundgren mailing list, BeyondAwizard, by former member of Utopia, Moogy Klingman about Kasim Sulton's gig at The Triad Lounge on Friday:
"Great nite with two generations of Utopians sharing the stage (okay - not at the same time) - but it was a love fest. The show was a big success with Freak Parade doing our thing with Freak Parade and Utopia Theme in the first set. Followed by Kasim doing a lot of the old stuff - Set Me Free, Here Comes My Inspiration and even It Wouldn't Have Made Any Difference - and stopping when he missed a chord to explain it was Todd's fault! "If he doesn't know how to play his songs, why should I?" said the Kas man to great laughter. We even got some pix with Kasim, Kevin Ellman and I to show the world the glow emanating from The Triad Lounge. Kasim was all good vibes and loved the band - he said we should do more gigs together and even back him up on some of the old classics."
