10.30 - Kasim Sulton's gig at the Tin Angel in Philadelphia is now listed on the concert page for the radio station WMGK 102.9 !! He's listed amongst Todd Rundgren, Yes, Ringo Star and Aerosmith!! It also means that the gig will be mentioned on the air too.
07.00 - There's a rare chance to buy a copy of the Price / Sulton video of Shotgun Shy on E-Bay at the moment. The opening bid of $9 has been met and the auction ends on 29th July.

07/25/01

07/24/01
19.30 - Many thanks to DD for pointing out the fact that the video I have on the site of Kasim Sulton singing Don't Hold Me Back is in fact from his gig at The Saint on 4th May and not The Point on 19th May!
10.30 - I added another video to the Videos section of the site. Again it's from Kasim Sulton's 19th May gig. It shows him singing Just A Little Bit leading into Ticket To Ride. It lasts over six and a half minutes so the file takes a long time to download but is more then worth it! The really funny part is at 5.30!

07/23/01

17.00 - I added a page to the News section about Kasim Sulton's gig last night with Tommy James and The Shondells
10.30 - Kasim Sulton's official website KasimSulton.com is still down. I'm only mentioning this because I've received about eight e-mails from people asking about the site. It may or may not have something to do with it but, after the big fire a couple of days ago that knocked out a lot of the Internet, several sites are having problems at the moment.
08.30 - With thanks to the six people who helped me, I added links to seven more Meat Loaf related websites that mention Kasim Sulton to the Links section of the site today. They are Anne Ferrez's French site, the German Meat Loaf Fan Club site, the Mr Ray (Ray Andersen) site, a Patti Russo site called Oh Darling, a site which reviews the StoryTellers Jacksonville concert, Kasim's Recipe for Meat Loaf and Omega's site.
06.00 - It seems that Kasim Sulton's official website KasimSulton.com is still down - that fire in Baltimore has a lot to answer for!

07/21/01

10.30 - On Monday I half-jokingly asked if anybody would like to volunteer to help do the thankless task of checking all the old links I had on the site. To my surprise SIX people responded so over the next few days I'll be able to add all the links far quicker than I ever antcipated! Many thanks to Frank Ciapanna, Lori, Jenni Morgan, Chris and the two people who asked to remain annonymous.
07.30 - At the request of a couple of people who only have Internet access at work, I'll only be setting the Kasim Sulton Trivia Question from Monday through to Friday.
07.00 - Kasim Sulton's official website KasimSulton.com is down this morning (and has been for a few hours). It appears to be a server problem as another site on that server is also down.

07/20/01
09.45 - There was an interesting post on the message board attached to Kasim Sulton's official website KasimSulton.com about the lyrics to Kasim's songs.
07.30 - I added the Videos section to the site. At present there are five great videos there that were taken at Kasim Sulton's gigs on 19th May. The files are large so will take 20 minutes (on a slow connection) to download but are well worth the wait. Many thanks to Kristy and Jim Mullen for providing and uploading the videos. Thanks to Kasim Sulton to for granting permission for them to be shown on this site.

06.00 - Kasim Sulton received a couple of mentions in the bi-monthly newsletter that is produced by the Meat Loaf UK Fan Club for July! As well as listing Kasim's forthcoming gigs, David M. Driskell, in his round-up of Internet sites lists the the Kasim Sulton Yahoo Message Board as a good place to chat about Kasim and, has this to say:
"I was over on the OFFICIAL Kasim Sulton website the other day, and noticed that he was playing a couple of his solo gigs really close to me! I might go see them, but both Cincinnati and Columbus are a couple of hours away. So, we shall see! I was not familiar with Kasim's work outside of what he has done with Meat, so I looked around his site and was amazed at the variety of people he has worked with over the years. It is surprising that it has taken him this long to do a solo album on a big time scale, and I am really looking forward to it!"
05.45 - I moved all the items prior to 13th July from the Blog page to a new page. The link is at the bottom of this page.
05.30 - Overnight there was a post on the message board attached to Kasim Sulton's official website KasimSulton.com about a rumor that Kasim Sulton may be opening for Moogy Klingman's band The Freak Parade on 3rd August in New York.

09.30 - A message was posted to a couple of Meat Loaf mailing lists about some Meat Loaf and Kasim Sulton items that someone has for sale. Click here to view it. Currently the only Kasim item still available is a guitar pic at a cost of $6 (one Meat Loaf pic is selling at only $5 so it shows how highly Kasim pics are valued!).
08.00 - Tickets are now on sale on-line for Kasim's gig at the Tin Angel, Philadelphia on 15th August. The direct link to purchase them is on that page in the Kasim Sulton 2001 Solo Acoustic Tour section of the site. 07.00 - It was today that Kasim Sulton was originally booked to play Shank Hall, Milwaukee. 07/16/01
23.55 - There were some posts today on the message board attached to Kasim Sulton's official website KasimSulton.com about Kasim Sulton in various Utopia videos.
13.00 - Although there were no problems viewing the site itself, recently I have been experiencing problems uploading files so my host company switched me to a new server which may have caused a few intermittant viewing problems for the past few hours. Hopefully pages should load more quickly now too.
10.30 - I added Kasim's interview for Guitar Digest from May 2000 to the "Articles / Interviews" section of the site.
10.00 - I added the "Links" section of the site. When I used to run the old "Kasim Sulton - A Fan's View" website, I had links to 187 websites that mentioned Kasim Sulton!! Unfortunately several of them are no longer in existence. However I've added 26 of the links and I'll add more over the coming days, weeks and months. Anybody wanna volunteer to help me?!!
06.30 - I renamed the "Kasim in Print" section of the site to "Articles and Interviews" and moved the links from his three recent on-line interviews to there. I also added a link to an interview that Kasim Sulton gave to the Official Meat Loaf Fan Club back in August 1999.

09.15 - I removed the buttons from the main index page and re-vamped the index to the left. Let me know if you don't like the new style!
08.45 - I updated the Future Appearances section of the site.
