Kasim's Set List:
Sometimes Love Is A Dangerous Thing
Don't Hold Me Back
Sacrifice

When Kasim first started singing tonight, I thought that the sound was way too low but then when they were singing Life Is A Lemon too, I thought the same so quite possibly it was because my ear was still blocked from the flight in!

Kasim sang his new “usual set” so his first song was Sometimes Love Is A Dangerous Thing and tonight again it sounded a bit echoy to me (and I don’t think that was due to my ear!).

When Kasim first walked on stage he said his usual “Hello Belfast” and mentioned that this was the third concert there in a week or so and about how he liked playing there (with the Belfast audiences compared to the English ones, I’m not surprised!). After his first song tonight, he said again about “giving the gift of music” and said that he himself feels that he does that when he’s on stage.

Don’t Hold Me Back was Kasim’s middle song and his voice was slightly husky in places (which I quite liked!). Unfortunately he didn’t hit the note correctly after the strong “strong” but I doubt that too many people noticed.

Tonight Kasim sang the fourth version of Sacrifice in as many concerts (I’m looking forward to writing “Kasim sang the twentieth version of Sacrifice in as many concerts soon!) as he played the guitar part and then stopped but he stopped for far longer than the other night! He then looked at his guitar and actually chatted to the audience a bit before finishing the song! It certainly was different!

And then, all too soon for me(I’m only just getting warmed up after 3 songs!), it was time for Kasim to leave the stage to far more applause and cheers than when he walked on!
